Combat Sports Knee Guard — IMF Tech The Combat Sports IMF Tech Knee Guard is specifically designed for combat sports and mixed martial arts. This knee guard protects the knee from direct strikes, takedowns and ground work without restricting your range of motion. The IMF (Injected Molded Foam) technology provides optimal shock absorption from direct impacts to the joint. The shell is finished with a premium synthetic leather surface that delivers lasting durability and abrasion resistance, even under heavy use on the mat or in the cage. The integrated neoprene sleeve keeps the knee guard locked in position throughout your session — no slipping, no rotating. The anatomical cut ensures precise contact with the knee for reliable protection in every situation. Compatible with MMA, grappling, BJJ, Muay Thai, kickboxing and mixed training sessions. Features Knee guard purpose-built for combat sports IMF (Injected Molded Foam) technology for impact absorption Premium synthetic leather shell — abrasion resistant Neoprene sleeve for secure fit without slipping Anatomical cut for a precise fit around the knee Suitable for MMA, grappling, BJJ, Muay Thai, kickboxing FAQ What is the difference between a combat knee guard and a knee support brace? A combat knee guard is engineered to absorb direct strikes and impact during fighting, takedowns and ground exchanges. It protects the joint from external force. A knee support brace is designed to stabilise ligaments and tendons under muscular load — these are two distinct products with different purposes. Which combat sports are these knee guards suitable for? They are suitable for MMA, grappling, BJJ, Muay Thai, kickboxing and any mixed combat training involving knee strikes or ground work. Does the neoprene sleeve stay in place during training? Yes. The neoprene sleeve wraps the full knee and holds the shell firmly in place — no slipping or rotating, even during intense rounds or ground rolling. Can these knee guards be worn over compression shorts or tights? Yes, they can be worn over fight shorts, compression tights or a rashguard. The neoprene sleeve accommodates different fabric thicknesses. How long will these knee guards last with regular use? The materials — premium synthetic leather and quality neoprene — are selected to withstand intensive, regular training. Proper care (wipe clean with a damp cloth, air dry) will significantly extend their lifespan.
