Easy Navtex from Nasa Marine is an international system for broadcasting maritime safety information as part of the GMDSS (Maritime Distress and Safety System mondial ). Reception is by radio on the dual Navtex frequency, on 490 kHz (in the language of the country near which you are sailing) and 518 kHz (in English only). Switching between these two channels can also be programmed. With its bold display and message formatting, reading is rapide and intuitive. The easy-to-use menu lets you select the stations and message categories you want to receive. In addition to its low power consumption, the Easy Navtex is equipped with an energy-saving backlighting system, enabling you to manage your consumption optimally.
