The eeSilk stem is articulated to reduce rider fatigue by attenuating vibrations from the ground. Maximum travel is 20 mm, and an elastomer is placed between the body and the part attached to the pivot. Elastomer density varies between five models (Extra Soft, Soft, Medium, Medium/Firm and Firm). In addition, a two-position lever on the top of the stem makes it easy to activate or deactivate filtration. This makes the eeSilk stem highly versatile and adaptable to different surfaces. The lever allows cyclists to use the stem in the soft position, then lock it in place for pedaling in a dancer, for example. Cane Creek We recommend that you first ride on the elastomer, which is installed fromorigine, to get a feel for it. You can then switch to a softer or firmer elastomer to suit your riding preference.
