Rowing as if you were on the water Rowing with a Fluid Rower sounds, feels and looks like you are on the water thanks to the high-quality water tank with patented Twin Tank technology. This unique system easily lets you adjust the resistance of the water at any time using the dial.
Adjustable Fluid Resistance The Fluid Rower’s water tank consists of two separate tanks: an inner tank and an outer tank. If you select a higher resistance with the dial while rowing, the water is moved from the passive tank to the active tank. As a result, you experience more resistance after a few rowing strokes. If you choose a lower resistance, the water is siphoned from the active tank back to the passive tank so you experience less resistance.
Lifetime warranty on the water tank for home use You experience fast and smooth resistance adjustment while you exercise and never have to determine the water amount in the tank in advance. The patented Fluid Resistance Twin Tank has been perfected down to the last detail: if the water limit is not exceeded, the tank never leaks. Therefore you receive a lifetime warranty (25 years) on the water tank for home use.
The Viking Pro XL has an XL Twin Tank as its driving force. It has a larger water capacity than the regular Twin Tank, offering 65% more resistance. It also connects the water resistance dial to the Bluetooth Monitor via a sensor.
Fluid Bluetooth Monitor: real-time insight into your rowing stroke The Fluid Bluetooth Monitor gives instant insight into all your training parameters such as time, watts, calories, distance and rowing strokes per minute. The monitor automatically displays the resistance level you set via the dial on the rower. You can also connect to training apps via Bluetooth.
The Power Graph is a unique feature of the Fluid Bluetooth Monitor. This graph shows your rowing stroke in real time to perfect your rowing technique. The better your technique, the more you get out of your workout.
Want to train by heart rate? Connect the monitor via Bluetooth to a digital heart rate monitor (sold separately) or let the trainer read your heart rate directly through the Touch Heart Rate Handle (sold separately).
Ultimate comfort, stability and balance while rowing The details of a Fluid Rower make all the difference. The seat guarantees the most comfortable rowing training. The ergonomic shape and non-slip texture keep you firmly yet comfortably in the seat. The seat is raised for easy access, and comfort can be further enhanced with Fluid accessories.
For extra stability, the seat rides on a dual rail with double-bearing wheels that ensure a quiet rowing experience. Small brushes attached behind the seat wheels sweep and clean the rails every stroke, preventing particles from affecting performance.
Each foot firmly in place The footplates are height-adjustable and feature two sturdy, separate foot straps for individually securing each foot, close together as in a rowing boat. A specially designed ‘bucket’ at the bottom supports the heel and moves with your shoe.
Premium ergonomic handle for a good grip and correct posture The Viking Pro XL has a premium ergonomic handle, extra wide and slightly curved for the best grip every stroke. Your posture is optimized and the strong nylon belt is quiet and stable. The bungee is optimized for smooth movement without resistance spikes.
