The new Manitou fork dedicated to XC could only be called R7. In the mid-2000s, when cross-country racing was a weekend party and 26-inch wheels with V-brakes were the norm, the R7 reigned supreme thanks to its lightweight, reliable chassis and ease of maintenance. Today, the Manitou R7 Pro 27.5+/29 100 1.5T 44OS fork returns to the forefront of the XC scene with an all-new chassis and a new compression damper.
