The ULTEGRA FD represents the pinnacle of mid-range Shimano reels, combining cutting-edge technology with unbeatable value for money. Built with the technology from Shimano’s high-end models, the ULTEGRA is designed to deliver exceptional performance without breaking the bank. Whether you're a seasoned angler or a beginner looking for a quality reel, the ULTEGRA offers a rare mix of power, durability, and affordability. If you’re looking for a stylish, high-performing reel that won’t cost you a fortune, the new ULTEGRA is an irresistible upgrade. With its sleek design and understated colours, the ULTEGRA exudes style while benefiting from advanced technology typically reserved for high-end Shimano reels like the Stella - all at a price that seems almost too good to be true. A proud member of the Shimano Coresolid family, the ULTEGRA FD combines great durability with refined sophistication, making it more than capable of handling any challenge you throw at it, especially during lure fishing that requires significant power. Its strength, together with the smoothness and reliability characteristic of Shimano, makes the ULTEGRA an ideal choice for anglers who want high-end features in a quality reel at a truly appealing price. The ULTEGRA features Shimano’s state-of-the-art technologies, such as HAGANE Gear, Micro Module II, X-SHIP, Silent Drive, INFINITYXROSS, and INFINITYDRIVE, all perfectly combined within a durable and lightweight CI4+ body. This combination allows for powerful, silky line retrieval, and above all, strength under pressure. X-Protect provides exceptional water resistance, making the ULTEGRA versatile enough for light fishing in rock fishing, lure fishing, and all freshwater possibilities. The AR-C Long Stroke spool increases casting distance, and the inclusion of the ANTI-TWIST fin ensures excellent line management, preventing line twists under the spool when casting lures. With its advanced technology and adaptable design, the ULTEGRA is an affordable technological revolution that never fails to impress and deliver reliable performance in a wide variety of situations.
