The Twins Special CH5 hand wraps are made from 100 % elastic cotton and measure 4.50 metres (180 inches) in length. This length allows multiple layers around the wrists, knuckles, and metacarpals, providing reliable protection during bag work, pad sessions, or light sparring. The built-in thumb loop keeps the wrap anchored from the very first turn, making application straightforward even without a training partner. Twins Special is a Thai brand founded in Bangkok in 1992. Shorter wraps typically cover only the wrist. This length is suitable for medium to large hands. What makes elastic cotton different from standard cotton wraps? Elastic cotton contains stretch fibres that conform to the shape of the hand without creating pressure points. It dries faster, breathes better, and retains its shape through machine washing better than traditional non-stretch cotton. Are the CH5 wraps suitable for both boxing and Muay Thai? Yes. The CH5 model is used in Muay Thai, boxing, kickboxing, and MMA. The 4.50 m length and thumb loop accommodate the different wrapping techniques used across each discipline. Can the CH5 wraps be machine washed? Yes. The elastic cotton material withstands machine washing. Using a laundry bag and air-drying is recommended to preserve the fabric's elasticity over time.
