MAXhit headset bearings are designed to fit directly into the head tube of your bike, eliminating the need for the aluminum cups that are traditionally used to carry the bearings. This unique design frees up space for much larger balls that double the load capacity of standard headset bearings. The kit includes a fork crown, upper split ring and upper bearing cap. Completely machined from 440C stainless steel and backed by a lifetime warranty, Maxhit Headset Bearings include exclusive double-lip labyrinth seals andEnduro 's extra high-pressure grease to ensure trouble-free, long-term performance. The Enduro line of headset bearings starts with chrome plated steel, Black Oxide type A/C finish and then offers full 440C stainless steel at the top. They are still designed with the largest balls possible and double-lip seals in a micro-groove for ultimate protection against sweat and the elements. They are 90% filled with waterproof high-pressure grease, so you'll never have to wonder if there's grease inside. The Enduro angular contact (A/C) bearings, all balls are engaged to spread the force over a larger area, squeezing out the water and minimizing wear.
