MIPS PROTECTION SYSTEM Using the MIPS-C2® rational impact management system, the MET Veleno Mips can slide relative to the head in the event of an impact, redirecting harmful rotational forces. MIPS is a brain protection system designed to add protection to the classic helmet construction for certain types of impacts. The MIPS Brain Protection System (BPS) is attached inside the helmet, between the comfort padding and the EPS. REMOVABLE VISOR The visor is minimal and removable thanks to its invisible mounting points, which guarantee a sleek and stylish design in both modes. Asphalt or trails? Like a gravel bike, the Veleno knows no boundaries and asserts its versatility as its main selling point. VENTILATION The Veleno Mips features 26 vents and an advanced internal channel system that directs air to maximize ventilation by pushing warm air out of the helmet to allow fresh air in, providing optimal comfort. The Veleno also has two ports to store sunglasses when resting or climbing. COMFORT Beyond its ventilation performance, the Veleno Mips is exceptionally comfortable. The 360° headband of the MET Safe-T Upsilon retention system ensures there are no pressure points on the skull. Its inner shape accommodates all head shapes, whether round or more oval.
