Designed for long-distance use, the Alptrek 42 is a comfortable trekking backpack made from lightweight nylon that is very resistant to abrasion, with a fully adjustable carrying system and a capacity of 42 litres. You also have the option to add five litres of extra volume thanks to the height-adjustable top lid compartment, which also serves as a detachable transport bag. Our Dry Back Custom carrying system, easy to adjust, can be height adjusted on the back and features anatomically shaped padded shoulder straps and a hip belt for a tailored fit. In addition, the load stabilisers ensure optimal fit on your back during long distances, while the pre-shaped hip wings provide a comfortable fit and good load transfer to the hips. Large pockets offer plenty of space for spare clothes or tent pegs and the main compartment has dual access (at the front and from above) for easy and quick retrieval of your gear. And to quickly access important items on the go, the side pockets are easy to reach without having to take the backpack off your back. This backpack is compatible with the water bottle holder Salewa. It also features an exit for the hydration system, an attachment for an ice axe/trekking pole, a rope attachment, load control, and side compression straps. Other features include: a rain cover, a handy removable elastic for securing extra gear, and lower straps for securing your ground mat.
