A new synonym for victory, the Protone Icon helmet benefits from the latest technological advances in safety, ventilation, and aerodynamics, making it a benchmark in road cycling. The Protone Icon's design is based on KASK's award-winning Protone helmet and has benefited from every possible improvement. The redesigned internal structure offers greater safety for the helmet wearer. The lower and upper parts of the shell are assembled using seamless technology, giving it an elegant and refined look while improving aerodynamics. The new OCTOFIT+ adjustment system optimizes the helmet's comfort and stability, while a vertical stabilizer at the nape of the neck provides ergonomic neck support and offers better balance and a personalized fit. Its large rotary dial covered with special rubber improves tightening, while a reflector positioned at the back of the helmet offers even greater safety. The inner lining is made of CoolMax® fabric, which combines comfort and quick drying, and is also removable and washable. As with all KASK helmets, the Protone Icon has been developed in accordance with the KASK ROTATIONAL IMPACT WG11 TEST protocol, an objective scientific approach designed to measure helmet performance against rotational impacts.TECHNOLOGIES: OCTOFIT +: The new injection-molded rubber wheel provides a better grip. The vertical stabilizer has been redesigned for greater stability and offers cyclists with longer hair a customized fit. The ergonomic neck support ensures a quick and secure fit at the back of the head. MIT: MIT technology ensures better head protection, with complete polystyrene protection thanks to the polycarbonate layer that covers the shell at the top, around the base, and at the back. COOLPMAX FIBER: Removable and washable inner lining made of Coolmax® material HIGH VISIBILITY: Highly visible stickers for optimal safety even in the worst visibility conditions IN MOULDING: Innovative "in molding" technology, combining the internal polystyrene liner with theexternal polycarbonateshell, ensures better shock absorption. 3D DRY PADDING: 3D DRY padding is achieved through a multi-layer open-cell construction process: high technology for the best comfort and performance. 3D DRY PADDING:3D DRY padding is achieved through a multi-layer open-cell construction process: high technology for the best comfort and performance.
