Wool is a living material that adapts to your body temperature. In warm temperatures, moisture and body heat are absorbed by the wool and transported away from the body. In colder temperatures, warmth is retained by the millions of microscopic air pockets naturally found in wool. Even when wet (it absorbs 30% of its weight in moisture), the wool keeps you warm. A nice bonus is that the wool is naturally odor-resistant.
When washing, carefully follow the care instructions in the side seam. Most Ivanhoe items are machine washable on a 30°C wool cycle. When hand washing, wash gently and rub gently.
