The NNormal Kjerag is a high-performance trail running shoe designed and developed by the undisputed master of the discipline: Kilian Jornet. The Catalan athlete, multiple winner of some of the world's most prestigious ultra-trail races, has created a shoe packed with outstanding qualities.
It delivers impressive cushioning thanks to its EExpure foam midsole. This cushioning technology has been specifically developed for trail running. The foam also sits directly against your foot, providing perfectly balanced responsiveness and compression to help you run fast in the mountains. This design also helps reduce foot movement inside the shoe, lowering the risk of blisters.
The NNormal Kjerag offers exceptional stability, even on the most technical terrain. Perfectly suited to trail running, it is also an excellent choice for skyrunning races, ultra distances and alpine hiking. Kjerag is made by mountain enthusiasts, and it gives you everything you need to fully enjoy your adventures.
Kjerag is designed for all mountain runners, whatever their level. Kilian Jornet's mission was to combine high-tech, premium-quality materials with environmentally responsible manufacturing processes. The upper features Matryx Jacquard, an extremely breathable and durable material made from polyamide and Kevlar yarns. Matryx Jacquard is manufactured in Ardèche, France, and its dyeing process reduces water consumption by 50 to 95% compared with conventional methods.
The grip provided by the Kjerag is simply exceptional. Featuring Vibram Megagrip Litebase technology and 3.5 mm lugs, the outsole keeps you firmly planted on all types of surfaces: roots, rocky terrain, snow-covered rocks and muddy trails. You become one with the terrain. The outsole is also 30% lighter than conventional Vibram outsoles.
