The Phantom APEX uses a two-layer construction: a protective outer shell combined with a thermoformable gel core that precisely conforms to the shape of teeth and gums. This assembly provides both rigidity and comfort against soft tissues.
The mouthguard is thermoformable with heat for a customised fit. Heat in boiling water, submerge for 60–90 s according to the instructions, drain, place in the mouth and bite down to press the gel against the dentition. Hold for 30–60 s then cool. Procedure can be repeated to refine the fit.
The reinforced molar zones and outer shell distribute forces while the inner gel reduces shock transmission. The design balances maximum protection with prolonged comfort during training and fights.
The breathable design facilitates airflow and allows a more breathing pattern during intense exertion, suited for combat sports and endurance activities.
The Phantom APEX comes with a hygienic storage case. Rinse with cold water after each use, clean regularly with a suitable product and store away from heat to preserve the gel properties and the achieved fit.
