The Premiere Condor blade set is the replacement blade set for the Premiere Condor clipper. It consists of a fixed blade with a titanium coating and a moving ceramic blade, and is adjustable from 0.5 to 2 mm. Intended for anyone who wants their Condor to clip sharply again, or wants a second blade set ready for busy clipping days.
About this blade set
A blade set is the part that does the work and therefore also the part that wears. The more horses you clip and the dirtier the coat, the faster that goes. You notice it in lines left in the coat, in a machine that has to push instead of glide, or in hair being pulled. At that point what helps you on is a new or sharpened blade set, not more force.
What makes this blade set special within our range is the adjustable cutting height. You set it between 0.5 and 2 mm, without changing blade sets. With the same part you clip both very short and slightly longer and more even: short where you want to mark out lines, longer where you want to leave some coat.
The materials are particular to the Condor blade set: the fixed bottom blade has a titanium coating, the moving blade is ceramic. That combination differs from the all-steel blades you find on most other blade sets and screw-on blade sets.
This blade set is made for one machine: the Premiere Condor. It does not belong to either of the two large systems you come across elsewhere in the clipping world. It is not a screw-on blade set, as the Heiniger Xperience, Xplorer and Progress use, and not an A5 snap-on blade set, as the Heiniger Saphir and Opal or the Wahl KM Supera use. If you have one of those machines, you need a different part.
