The new Ultegra CI4+ has a very compact design, which contributes to making it surprisingly light for a 'Big Spool' reel. The use of the CI4+ considerably reduces the weight of the compact Ultegra frame, making it easier to reach your casting distances. The double slow swing speed and the AR-C spool, combined with the new 'Hi-Speed' brake system, allow for even greater casting performance. The HAGANE cold forged aluminum gears and X-Ship technology provide outstanding power. In addition, the 5 S A-RB bearings and the needle bearing give the reel extreme smoothness. The reel is equipped with the latest technology Shimano: the 'X-Protect' which protects the reel from any water or dirt infiltration. The G-Free frame combined with the 'Parallel Body' technology will allow you to make long and accurate casts without getting tired.
