The new Ritchey WCS Toyon stem takes its inspiration from the original, award-winning Ritchey C220 stem and gives it a more modern shape and increased stiffness for improved handling and responsiveness. The Toyon retains the C220's clamping surface, creating a more secure interface by wrapping 220° around the handlebar. Its clamping forces are aligned with the collar so the body "embraces" the handlebar—a design that is less likely to damage lightweight handlebars and allows for a lighter stem faceplate and body without sacrificing strength or stiffness. Built from life and everything that inspires it, the Toyon builds upon the proven and celebrated C220 design with a fresh, square aesthetic that complements the overall harmony of modern frame designs—matching its good looks with increased confidence and a more lively feel for whatever takes you on the road.
