Designed for a better and more comfortable fit, the Competition last increases toe pitch and heel lift, allowing the foot to expand under high pedalling pressure. Supporting the shoe, the Race carbon fibre sole from Lake offers impressive stiffness and power transfer while remaining lightweight. To protect the shoe from premature wear, the full-grain leather upper features a heel panel and a rubber toe bumper, as well as mesh panels for adequate ventilation. Designed for high-pressure rides, the wider forefoot of the Lake CX238 provides the necessary relief to focus on the road ahead.
