The BOOSTER III combines UNICORE process and DRYCOVER treatment: the core is bonded to the sheath to keep them together if the sheath is cut, while the hydrophobic Drycover sheath limits water absorption and increases abrasion resistance and rope longevity.
With a low impact force (approximately 7-7.4 kN) and a high fall rating (UIAA/CE standards), this rope offers a good balance between protection and lightness. Indelible middle marking (Black limit) for easy identification of the rope's center.
Designed as a single rope, the 80 m length is ideal for routes of 35-40 m, suitable for sport climbing, mountaineering, and challenging conditions. Recommended for non-beginner climbers up to highly trained climbers.
Diameter 9.7 mm, weight 61 g/m (approximately 4880 g per spool), dynamic elongation 38%, static elongation 9.7%, sheath percentage 42%, edge resistance validated (factor 1.77 fall on 0.75 mm edge). Complies with CE-UIAA standards.
