The ALM/EN stem is made from forged 6061 alloy, designed for fast rides on rugged MTB terrain. It's a reliable partner for All-Terrain/Enduro rides. The 6061 alloy is commonly used in yacht construction, car chassis, or diving bottles. This aluminium alloy is built to last under very high pressures. 3D Forging - A solid block of heated aluminium is forged and compressed into the desired mould. The advantage of this technology is that there is no need for welding - everything is made from a single block of alloy. Thus, the component ends up being lighter and stronger. T6 - material treatment under cyclic changes of specific conditions to achieve a significant increase in structure. Also known as the 'aging process'.
