The Gonge tactile discs – for developing perception and speech therapy The discs’ different surface textures are great for developing tactile perception, presenting a challenge to both the hands and feet. They also support language development when children are asked to describe their impressions of the surface textures. Made of rubber, the discs feel very pleasant to the touch. Each of the 5 different surface textures are on both a small and large disc. The larger discs can rest on the floor while the smaller discs can be held in one’s hands. The discs are excellent for sensory perception and memory games, etc. Good to know Use the blindfold included as an additional challenge when describing what the discs feel like.
