Freedom of movement on trail or slope: 4-way stretch fabric moves with your body without restriction. Seams that don't rub: flatlock seams stay comfortable even under another layer. Faster drying between efforts: quick-dry finish helps the top dry out between the climb and the descent. Adjustable comfort at the neck: unzip the high collar when you warm up, zip it up against the cold on an exposed ridge.
