The Cycl-e (Downtown) DT tire has been designed primarily for urban use, where fluidity, uncompromising reliability and maximum handling on all surfaces and in all weather conditions are essential. The Downtown model from Pirelli, on the other hand, has opted for a profile that guarantees homogeneity in all phases of bending, braking and acceleration, while taking into account the requirements of use on increasingly high-performance power-assisted bicycles. The two Downtown and Downtown Sport tires are distinguished by a different roughness, number of grooves and depth and orientation compared with the Cycl-e XT and XT-Sport tires, enabling them to be used on easy off-road terrain too.
