Based on feedback from ews riders , the new vittoria mazza combines years of athlete feedback with cutting-edge tread technology, raising the bar in the enduro mixed terrain tire category. starting with a defined center tread, the mazza uses deep sipes in the direction of rotation, allowing the tire to roll quickly while opposing drift, the stepped leading edge rolls like a ramp, but digs in on climbs, making the mazza a top choice premier for both front and rear use substantial space has been designed into the center tread to provide traction under braking, while accelerating clean-up turns on the mazza are managed by the brand's progressive siping technology vittoria, which gives an efficient, rubbery inner edge, but without the instability that competitors experience on the outside of the tread - in other wordsautres, the large sipes flex more than the small sipes - this unique siping pattern creates asymmetrical tread flexing and translates into a predictable, confident and communicative feel at the edge of the turn the generous tread depth of mazza grips a range of terrains, and is stabilized by vittoria's exclusive 4c compound layering processfour distinct graphene 20 compounds are layered, allowing the tread surface to remain tacky, while the base stays plantedthis ensures that every effective edge stays in place during cornering and braking, reducing rolling resistance and increasing life the bar has been set higher.
