Why structure the base? Microstructures dissipate water and reduce suction adhesion. This increases glide performance and consistency across various snow conditions. Which structure is fitted as standard? The red diagonal roller for medium snow temperatures. Additional rollers can be used depending on the conditions. For which disciplines is the tool suitable? For skating and classic cross-country skis. Not for the edge, only for the running surface of the base. How do I use the tool? Fix the ski, guide the tool with light, even pressure from tip to tail over the dry base. Repeat as needed. Do I need to wax beforehand? Ideally: clean the base, wax, brush out and then structure. This keeps the structure defined and the performance consistent.
