The TR12 drivetrain consists only of a shifter and a rear derailleur. All the work done around noise reduction is found on this derailleur. This derailleur has many technologies; like the HALL LOCK, CHAIN LENGTH INDICATOR and ergonomics. HALL LOCK technology: This function locks the B-Knuckle (the part that connects the derailleur to the frame) once the derailleur is mounted and adjusted. This prevents the derailleur from moving and reduces noise.CHAIN LENGTH INDICATOR technology: A marking that makes it very easy to determine the optimal chain length.The new TRP TR12 derailleur brings new functionality to racing.TRP was able to work on improving this derailleur and its shifter with Aaron Gwin and his mechanic John Hall.Ergonomics are emphasized: A downshift and shift lever that moves in a straight line to better follow the movement of the thumb, rather than rotating around an axis. The lever has a starting position that is adjustable over 40°.This transmission is compatible with cassettes up to 50 teeth.
