The double-jointed snaffle bit is the simplest bit and is well accepted by most horses. The double joint distributes pressure on the tongue and allows for a softer impact. Specifications:

Argentin material: 66.3% copper and 32.7% zinc, with small amounts of other metals for added strength and durability

Available in soft iron:
Stimulates salivation, which improves acceptance of the bit.
Slightly sweet taste due to oxidation, encouraging the horse to chew the bit.
Available in Argentin:
Has a neutral or slightly sweet taste and does not rust like soft iron.
Stays smooth longer and is less likely to change colour or texture
Suitable for horses sensitive to oxidation or needing a softer bit.
