The Grade 2 from Academy is a 14-inch bicycle specially designed for children. In collaboration with the German Institute of Orthopedics and Sports in Bielefeld, Academy set the goal of manufacturing a children's bike as lightweight and high-quality as possible, perfectly suited for kids. Thanks to its low weight, the Grade from Academy is more maneuverable in turns and allows young cyclists to accelerate and climb hills more easily. With a lightweight bike, little ones also don't need much strength to get the bike moving.
The low frame entry height allows children to mount easily. The patented Vario stem grows in height and length and can be continuously adjusted, allowing the bike to be optimally adapted to the seating position. The Q factor reflects the cyclist's pedaling motion. For children, it is particularly important to have a low Q factor so that the pedaling is optimally adapted for them.
