The Vision MIPS helmet is made of EPP foam composite with molded EPS and a polycarbonate shell to protect against dents. Featuring innovative MIPS technology, it protects against rotational forces that occur during an angled impact. This additional protection system reduces rotational forces during an impact. With a movable second shell mounted between the helmet and the head, energy is absorbed through movement rather than transferred to the head. Enhanced fit at the sides and back increases protection and meets proposed UIAA requirements. Strategically placed vents provide airflow in warm temperatures. The fastening system and chin strap are lightweight and comfortable, while integrated headlamp clips prevent material entanglement during climbing at night.
